Vamo tools do not show up, or some are missing

Vamo should show three tools in your AI tool: search_docs, search_execute and read_more. If none or only some appear, your AI tool may be holding an old copy of the list. Restart it or start a new conversation. On a company workspace, an admin may need to refresh the approved list.

What you are seeing

Vamo is connected, but one of these is true:

• Your AI tool lists no Vamo tools.
• It lists one or two of the three.
• Vamo worked before, and now your assistant says it cannot see the Vamo tools.

What it means

The list is stale. Your AI tool may be holding an old copy of the Vamo tool list. A conversation that was open before you connected may not have the tools.

Your workspace holds an older approved list. Vamo changes its tools from time to time. A company workspace may keep an approved list of them. That list does not follow the change on its own, so it no longer matches what Vamo offers.

Vamo is not connected. If the connection never finished, there are no tools to show.

Try this

1. Start a new conversation. Then ask your assistant the question below.
2. Restart your AI tool. Close it fully and open it again.
3. Check the connection. Open Set up > API keys. A tool connected by sign-in appears under Connected tools. A key shows when it was last used. If nothing is there, read Vamo is added but will not connect.
4. Ask your workspace admin. If Vamo worked before and you are on a company workspace, ask the admin to refresh the Vamo tool list. Send them what a ChatGPT workspace admin does.

To see what your assistant has, ask it:

Which Vamo tools can you see? List their names.
