Vamo stops working in a tool that used to work when the tool loses its access to your account. The API key was revoked, the sign-in lapsed or was removed, or the plan on the account changed. Each one has a short fix in the Vamo app.
What you are seeing
Vamo ran searches from your AI tool before. Now you see one of these:
- The tool shows Vamo as disconnected, or asks you to sign in again.
- The tool reports that Vamo rejected its credential, or that the sign-in is no longer valid.
- Your assistant says the account cannot run that right now.
What it means
The key was revoked. Someone revoked the API key the tool was using. Owners and admins can see every key and connected tool on the account. A revoked key cannot be turned back on.
The sign-in lapsed or was removed. A signed-in tool stays connected as long as it is used. After 90 days without use it must sign in again. Removing the tool under Connected tools also disconnects it.
The plan changed. API keys and sign-in are part of the Pro and Enterprise plans. If the plan changed, Vamo can refuse the request.
Try this
- Look at what still has access. Open Set up > API keys. Find your key in the list, or your tool under Connected tools.
- If the key is gone, replace it. Create a new key on that page. Then open Set up > Get started and connect the tool again with it.
- If the tool is gone, sign in again. Connect from your tool and approve the Vamo page it opens. The tool then shows under Connected tools.
- If the account cannot run that, ask the owner. Read the account cannot run that right now.
If Vamo never connected in the first place, read Vamo will not connect. To see who can turn access off, read connected tools and keys. Not sure which one your tool uses? Read sign-in or API key.
Still stuck
Let your assistant check its own connection. It reports what failed and what to do next.
