A Vamo search that finds no one is still a working connection. The search ran, and the filters in your ask ruled everybody out. Remove one filter, search again, and confirm your AI tool used Vamo for the answer.
What you are seeing
You asked your AI tool to find developers. One of these happened:
- It says it found no one.
- It found only one or two people.
- It found people who do not fit the role.
What it means
No one, or almost no one. Each filter narrows the search. A language, a city, a past employer and a title together can leave nobody. The connection is fine. If your tool could not reach Vamo at all, read Vamo will not connect.
People who do not fit. The ask left out the requirement that matters most. Or your AI tool answered from its own knowledge and did not search Vamo.
Try this
Confirm the tool used Vamo. Ask it directly:
Did you search Vamo for that answer? If you did not, search Vamo now.
If it did not, read my assistant is not using Vamo.
Remove one filter. Vamo can filter by language, technology, location, employers, titles and schools. Drop the narrowest one and search again.
Run that search again without the location.
Put filters back one at a time. When results appear, you know which filter was too narrow. Widen that one. Try a wider area, or a few similar employers.
For a poor fit, name the one thing that matters. Say what the person must have built or worked on. Writing better search queries shows how to phrase it.
Ask for another angle. Your assistant can suggest a different way to find the same kind of person.
To see what a good result looks like, read run your first search.
Still stuck
Let your assistant check its own connection and report what it finds.
