Why it does not connect yet
The Gemini app adds outside tools by connecting to a remote MCP server, a set of tools an assistant can use by itself. Vamo runs one. To connect, the app signs in to Vamo in your browser. Vamo sign-in does not accept the Gemini app yet, so the connection stops at that step.

What to use instead
Gemini CLI. Gemini CLI is the command-line version of Gemini. It runs on your computer and can run a Vamo setup line. Open Set up > Get started, click the line under the heading to copy it, and paste it into Gemini CLI. Connect Gemini CLI covers the details.

On a company Gemini workspace
