How search works

Vamo runs semantic search over real GitHub work. You describe the kind of developer you need in plain language, and Vamo matches your description against repositories and profiles rather than keywords in a resume.

That means the results are grounded in code people have actually shipped, not in how they describe themselves.

Reading the results

Each developer in your results comes with matched repositories: the specific projects that made them a match for your query. Use these to judge fit before you spend anything on a reveal.

If the matched repositories are not what you expected, that is a signal to rewrite the query, not to keep scrolling.
