Native mobile depth signals platform specialization: Swift developers know Apple’s ecosystem and review cycle, Kotlin developers know Google’s. React Native experience signals a developer who can likely cover web frontend too, since React is shared. Mobile app code skews closed-source, so the shipped apps and their store listings carry more of the evidence here than a public profile does.
Mobile splits two ways. Native means Swift for iPhone and Kotlin for Android. Cross-platform means one codebase for both, through React Native or Flutter. Store review sits between a mobile team and its users, so mobile releases get planned more carefully than web releases.
